Occasionally.... usually a trip to the landfill to dump yard waste, and a load of firewood rounds once or twice a year.

Noo.. not another towing thread...Staying far away from this one lol :bandit:
The good news is that a maverick with 4k can tow the thread over to the towing subforum!
😜

[y'all with 2k are stuck here!]

More people tow with their Mavericks because the beds are so much shorter than other trucks. ;)
At might height, I need a California King for the length, so . .

Anyway, I never expected to tow with it, but ordered the 4k package (which wasn't much for a lariat) just for the extra cooling, as I live in the desert and can count on 117F days aren't rare in the summer.

But during production they added the assistance stuff, and I realize that it was so shiny that I would have to find something to tow, just to use it!

We'll be getting a plug in hybrid full size truck as soon as ford or dodge gets off its tail and ships. I was going to order a 2024 powerboost, but the options I insisted on (like cooled seats, and massaging seats) kept playing peek-a-boo with availability. I'm also on the [paid] waiting list for the dodge plugin that's coming as a late 24 model in 25Q1 ).

So a car hauler was already on my horizon. Then the guy that was supposed to have hauled my classics waiting repairs ghosted me, and I just bought the cheapest new 18 ft that could take over 6k I could find, figuring to replace it once I had a better idea what I wanted.

So it has about 2,500 out of the 4,000 available for payload, and I'll borrow something to haul the 1972 Cadillac on it.
