How long to Maine?

ETA MOVED AGAIN - 9/7 to 9/13.
Don't order a Ford from a dealer in the upper half of Maine. Ford doesn't support delivery there. Order it from another dealer and pay to have it trans-shipped.

Any chance your dealer could have the truck delivered to a volume dealer elsewhere in Maine so they can pick it up there?

Why not come down to MA and pick it up? I know dealing with the flatlanders is a turn off, you might get your Maverick quicker this way.

No problem with flatlanders, but the dealer tells me he's exhausted that possibility. They have to sign off on receiving it. However, he is checking whether Wiscassett could receive their vehicles and then trans-ship. Waiting for a callback.

They will not let you do that. Mine Sat in the railyard longer than it took to get there from Mexico. This was late in 22. Thought things got better since then.

Yes, sorry about your experience. I thought I had read that Ford intervened with carriers at that time. However, my dealer has been invoice, so Ford has no financial incentive to intervene. The dealer is left hanging by the cherry picking carrier, much the same as your was. My Maverick shipped 7/19, with an ETA of 8/3-6. It offloaded at the ramp in Mass on 8/3. The latest delivery estimate is 9/7-13. I am running out of time.

Carrier brought 1(one) vehicle to the dealer today, on an otherwise empty truck. This one had been waiting 3 weeks longer than mine. Driver said he would go back and try to find mine in the 'pen', and bring it on the next load, no eta. BTW, it was a no on dealer trans shipping, since the invoiced dealer has to do the sign-off. Stay tuned.

Tracker changed to 9/13-19 this am. Marketing call line has no clue. How does the Tracker know to keep incrementing?

Tracking has changed to 9/6, but I got my second email from Ford delighted to tell me 9/19..... Send in the clowns.

.delivery date keeps getting pushed back, I'll be surprised if it shows up.

The other two myself and my son bought were no more than a week at the ramp at different locations, north and south. This last leg is the black hole of delivery. You would think the start of a new model year would let them catch up? The dealer, and Ford claim to have no control over this final step of trucking. Ford does, however, smartly invoice the dealer when it leaves the plant, so no worries on their part, right?
