  1. Thanks to my Son!!

I really don't know, I barley know how to post on the web page. But I will say all information needed is on this forum. My son knows forscan and my Grand son is a school trained auto mechanic as well....me? Nope. Old dinosaur I am.
  2. Thanks to my Son!!

The little "Nanny" Truck now has global up/down on all 4 windows and the engine on/off is now disabled. Global up/down is great for Arizona weather, I can drop all four and at least get the 150 degree heat out before starting the engine. And whoever decided we needed engine on/off should be...
  3. TPE Hood Protector

OK, Folks here is the final result for the Chinese hood protector:) As stated above my son is a 30+year helicopter tech. His suggestion was to use the SEM Trim Black, so that's what we did. The results speak for themselves. After washing twice with scotch brite and a good grease/oil remover...
  4. I Haven't caught a thing. Not a drop. Catch Can

maybe a tablespoon (or less) in the can after the drive of 1.4k miles at highway speeds.
  5. I Haven't caught a thing. Not a drop. Catch Can

I put a catch can on the "Nanny" truck and check it every couple thousand miles. Yes there is normally a little liquid in the can. We just finished a 1.4K ride towing the 2,000 pound trailer and Harley trike with the little truck. 4K tow package, when towing I use premium gas I'll check the...
  6. TPE Hood Protector

Thanks for the replies, I'll be visiting my son next week, he's the mech in the family so we'll see what he thinks.
  7. TPE Hood Protector

Purchased in Dec 2024, did not last 2 years in the Arizona heat and sunlight. I've tried "back to Black" and Armor-All to no avail. The material seems to suck up the liquid protectant but by morning it's back to ugly. I'm going to remove and replace with paint protection film. More expensive...
  8. Seatbelt silencer

have them and they work :)
  9. Open For Comments on NO ISSUE Mavericks

    We've had our 24 less than 6 months and 4500 miles...No issues at all.....knock on wood :)
  10. Fell asleep at the wheel.

    2024 Maverick Lariat 4K tow package. 2.0L
  11. Fell asleep at the wheel.

I wondered what the "lil Nanny Truck" would do if I did not respond to her commands while driving to keep your hands on the wheel. We have a 22 mile stretch of straight road not to far from us, not the slightest curve in the whole 22 miles. I had cruse control and lane centering on then took...
  12. Turn Signal Sound Level Too Loud

Yep, old enough to not give a crap and deaf enough not to hear most people bitch :)
  13. Turn Signal Sound Level Too Loud

I would say the blinker sound level is based upon how old and deaf you are.:crackup::crackup: Mine is perfect !
  14. Maverick Lariat tow package?

Does not matter if you have the Lariat or XLT. Get the 4K tow package comes with the upgraded trans cooling, and lower gears. I only tow 2k but went with the 4K package anyway, it's good insurance IMHO
  15. Show what you tow...

Tow my Harley trike on those rides which are too much for my back and hips :) Tow then ride :) :)
  16. Dealership aren’t allowed to sell XL and XLT

Well, I'll tell my age, I've driven for over 50 years without a rear view camera...Guess what, a young wet behind the ears whippersnapper can learn to drive without one also. Just disable the damned thing and sell the trucks!
  17. Is this good fuel mileage for the 2.0 turbo?

4K tow package also effects MPG, Normal for my Mav with only 2.6K on the meter averages 28MPG
  18. Tailgate Assist

Mine came with the bottle opener, not the tie downs.
