Drove by the dealer after closing last night. No maverick. Looked up the ramp number from the windowsticker to get the auto transporter from another forum. Texted their contact info to the dealer. Called the number for Diversified Automotive, but they were closed. This morning, checked the tracker and it says DELIVERED!. Called the dealer. They're not open yet. Maybe it's on the 95?

Well, I drove to the dealer. It is there. The dealership is closed. There is a sticker on it that it was selected for random testing and driven 29 miles. The tires look scrubbed on the edges. Lots of bugs on the tailgate
Definitely not prepped yet. 10 days rail travel. 35 days sitting in Massachusetts (or not). Why take a Special Order for 'random' testing?

Why take a Special Order for 'random' testing?

Anything with a green window sticker is a special order, which is most of the Mavericks out there, so why wouldn't they do random testing on them? Blue window stickers are for dealer inventory.

If you watch Maverick Mondays, you know Ford was making dealers take a lot of blue sticker higher margin vehicles, even going ahead of previous special orders. A vehicle that is a confirmed sale, waiting on delivery is not the same as taking liberties with the dealer's vehicles.

Picked it up today. The only reason it was there was because the driver from last week went back and looked for it on the lot. Dealership was great on fast prep and out the door service. I gave them the number of Diversified Automotive so they can follow up on the rest of their vehicles. The manager is still waiting for his retirement pickup.

And this weekend, all the vehicles showed up......
