There seems to be a lot of confusion about magnetic charger/data cables. There are two basic types of magnetic cables. The cheap ones are chargers only. Then there are charger/data transfer cables. All the magnetic cables do is replace plugin cables. If your phone works with android auto and a plugin cable it will work with a magnetic data cable. If it doesn't it won't.

My LG OEM magnetic charger adapter works with Android Auto, but it is so sensitive. If there is any slight bump/pressure, it loses connection. Potholes, speedbumps, slightly moving the cord with my leg, looking at it wrong, all cause disruption. So I've stopped using them in vehicles. Just straight plug in only.

I drove a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica as a rental vehicle for a month. I really, really liked the wireless Android Auto. It's about the only thing I miss from it, though.
