Google maps is backwards again.

So Google is on my phone and on the screen in front of me. However the direction is that they are driving down on the screen and backwards on the phone, If I hold the phone flat on my hand the direction arrow is pointing behind me, not ahead of me. It is backwards. Should be pointing forward and the screen in front of me should be pointing up. .............................Anyone else with this problem? Can it be fixed in settings? It is driving me nuts. Thank you.

I've had it happen with google maps. It's a setting inside the map app that needs to be changed. Not sure which.

In your phone in the Map app's Settings>Navigation, scroll down below the type of car you have. Try toggling "Keep Map North Up" depending on your preference. That should change it on your Maverick truck screen, too.

Gotta hit the compass and keep map north I believe if not it gets disorienting

Looks like I just had to turn off the always facing north function and now it faces forward like it should. I could not stand it when I was driving forward and the arrow was pointing backward. Then when you are suppose to turn right it shows the car turning left. Way too confusing.
