How cool do those in the back seat stay with the AC on?

My wife takes medications that make her "blood boil", or so she says. She can't take heat. She stays cool when she rides in the back seat. WE are very pleased.

The Mavericks AC is fantastic. It’s almost instant and blows very cold!

It's just like any other car. when I grew up cars didn't have rear ac and we all survived. man I sound like a boomer and I'm only 30 years old.

Put 'em in the bed! It used to be a big treat for us to ride in the bed. Or, on the tailgate while the truck was moving.

Ford does A/C better than anyone. My Saturn never got "cool" until we were halfway home; my wife's Escape gets cool before we pull out of the parking lot. And I live in central Alabama which means it has to fight humidity.

I think backseat passengers will be fine.
Now you did it. Ford will read this and figure out a way to save 50 cents a vehicle.

Lariat has rear seat vents that xl and xlt don't have.
You're referring to the hack job vents under the seats? I wasn't aware that was a Lariat only "feature."

I've asked my kid multiple times if they can feel any air down there and they always say no. If I turn my air on floor and high fan I can barely feel it.

That's not rear seat vents. That just lets the passenger control the temperature on their side.

My only worry about the Mav is when I have kids in the backseat and it's 110 out... and the only vents pumping out cold air are in the front. Has anyone experience with this from the summer?
Yeah, my family always complains about it leading to getting a portable AC for the back passengers. No fun at all.

wish I could slap some boomers around in this thread.

'tinting' or 'dark tint' =/= reducing temperatures.

if you have not learned yet - brightness =/= warmth

you dont make the car darker inside to make it cooler.

the way you reduce temps is with the tint material - not essentially the darkness of the tint.

on my maverick i have the windshield done in essentially clear ceramic and the front left/right windows in a similar shade to the rear windows - in ceramic.

i did not add ceramic tint to the back windows or the rear window - but if i was concerned about my rear passengers getting hot I would tint the rear windows in a clear ceramic.

please stop equating dark tint to a cooler car. please.

I’ve had my Maverick in Phoenix, AZ, since April with no issues with the backseat temps for the kids through of summer. I do have ceramic tint on the windows, and the AC blows a gale when you crank it up.

Came to say the same. My relationship with Ford has taken a hit over the last 14 months, but you can count on that ac. No one does it better.

You could try a portable fan that is rechargeable via USB which would be perfect for your hybrid. Some of the fans have a clamp or hook so you can attach it to the seat.

Try Amazon.

I agree the a/c is pretty dang good in my Maverick. Out here in Nevada it gets up to 115 degrees !

Lol. Tell me you don't understand physics without telling me you don't understand physics.
