Horn going off early morning

So, this morning the horn decided to start blaring for no reason at all and I didn't see anybody outside trying to break into the truck. When I called the dealer they said it could be because the battery is low on the key flob. Does that sound right to you?

The alarm went off on my F-250 one night. Gated yard...no one around for sure. I go out and it was a moth flying around inside setting off the motion sensor. Showed on my Ford Pass app that horn was honking.

No interior motion sensors on the Maverick. If you add the Perimeter Plus module then a bump can set it off (adjustable) and it will also send the notification to the Ford Pass app.

Yeah, I wasn’t sure if it was a lariat thing or not. I’ve only got an XLT so I didn’t know.

I have a '24 Lariat, it doesn't have interior motion sensors. There was a thread on here about tracking them down as there is a mention of them in the manual.

I've had the wind set off an alarm on a car I had a few years ago.

If the fob was in your pocket, the sensitive panic button may have been hit. Happened to me a couple times.

THIS! It has happened to many users. I keep mine in a cover, so removing the panic button from the fob was the easiest route for me. Easily snaps out, and can be snapped back in (provided you don't lose it) should you wish to restore to original.

I noticed that every once in a while, when I open the door behind the driver it will beep. Car is unlocked, engine is off. There might be other times, but it is rare enough that I don’t remember. Usually happens when it is embarrassing..
