I wanted to protect my hood from roost damage and I purchased the ford deflector. I tried hard to get it on straight but no luck. Do you know of any way to straighten it? I was in 104* yesterday and tried, but it’s stuck.

Picture please. It helps.
Is this the type that sticks directly to the hood. Is it the type that bolts on to the hood???
If it is the stick on Ford Aeroskin hood protection. Sadly, the answer is NO. You'd have to peel it off and in the process you'll probably stretch it causing a wrinkle or bubbles when you try to reapply it and it won't stick like it originally did. You will end up having to spend another $100 and very carefully start all over.
If it is the kind of deflector that sits off of the hood. I don't know of any options to reposition it

Maybe warm it with a heat gun and if necessary, run fishing line like a saw behind it and slowly work it off, perhaps then you can reposition it?

That’s a great tip,I’ll give it a try. Thanks
After more than 7 years of co-owning and working in the vinyl graphics and PPF industry.
Try not to pick it up. Off the surface
Be very careful with the heat gun no pulling. Your best results may be using a friend or two with the heat gun, try to reposition by gently sliding it into place. When you're done then remove the residual adhesive.
My biggest advice is patience and take your time.
Keep us updated.
Good luck

That's one reason why I installed EGR hood protector. It bolt/clips on. I was able to adjust the position without being stuck on with very aggressive tape.
