Has anyone installed a sun visor with HomeLink in their Maverick? I was disappointed that the 2024 Maverick Lariat did not have this option. in the Lariat package. HomeLink did come with it in my 2020 Ranger Lariat as part of the Lariat package

I looked online for a universal sun visor with HomeLink but did not find one.

I have not seen the visor with homelink. Myself and others have installed the KIA mirror. It has Homelink, compass and is a dimming mirror. Looks very good and works excellent. Many threads and video's on the site for install and part numbers. I have heard some of the models available do NOT have the homelink built in. Good luck!

My experience with the HomeLink sun visor is the transmit power is very weak and you need to be about 50 feet away from the garage for them to consistently work. Whereas the kind that just clip on the visor work very well from a distance of several hundred feet.

That is the opposite for me. My clip on door opener needs to be close, where my girlfriends Edge with Homelink can open the garage from very far away.

Bronco visor with Homelink works on the 2025.

Ford Maverick HomeLink Sunvisor Visor with Homelink
Ford Maverick HomeLink Sunvisor Visor with Homelink fit

I found a Bronco visor with homelink from a search on the internet so I bought it to try out. Color is an exact match to my 2025 Lariat interior and the mount was similar enough to look factory. The width is slightly narrow but the clamp on the right does accept it. The power cable plug is an exact match so the install is mostly plug and play. No one can tell that it did not come from the factory already installed and works great. There is no reason Ford should not have this feature for the Maverick, especially after 3 years in production.

If you have the illuminated sunvisor already in your truck then yes. It plugs directly into the same connector as you illuminated mirror from the original visor that you take out.
The rearview mirror with the integrated homelink was also a good option but with my 2025 I wanted the integrated dashcam for my rear view mirror. Plus, the visor option is factory on most all of the other 2025 models so it made sense for me and it is plug and play. This option on the visors also protected by the 20 minute battery save that disconnects power to the mirrors so if you walk away from the truck with the windows down, the battery saver kicks in and no one can reach in to visor and open garage doors or gates. It is a great option.
