Something definitely not right, take it to your dealer. Sounds like it went into limp mode or something
Isn't there a pill for Limp mode?

Looking at the screenshot. the error conditions of slippage could be due to the error concerning the engine speed. If the engine speed is misreported, it can be construed as slippage. I am sort of surprised there was no suggestion to check the sensor that determined engine speed.
You originally mentioned speeding up to get around another vehicle, which in most cases would involve an increase in engine speed. It seemed the problem occurred immediately after engine speed increase. I would be looking at any OBD-II data that would demonstrate if the engine speed sensor was broken, needed adjustment, or perhaps had a poor connection or damaged wiring. IF the sensor(makes no sense as the computer does the spark control... i.e., engine speed??? weird) is working, then the clutch connecting the ICE to the CVT could indeed be slipping. MIght make sense to take a look at the lube in the CVT, checking condition and level. I have not looked, but assume the clutch involved is a hydraulic unit as used in regular automatic transmissions. They can slip when the pump is worn, there's too much leakage in the plumbing or in the clutch pack(damaged/cooked/hardened seals), or other mechanical.
The rest of the CVT is all gears and bearings, depending upon the small motor to adjust ratio and direction, and hold fast to get max gear ratio. I think.

The clutch is dry and external to the transmission between the input shaft and the engine flywheel. It is similar to a manual transmission clutch without any throwout mechanism; effectively always engaged. It's there to slip intentionally should there be an excess in power across the linkage.

I got exact same issue a week back - was driving on highway at ~70 mph and suddenly there was no acceleration. Fortunately was able to coast to the shoulder safely. For 15 minutes truck didn’t start, after that it started but check engine light was on. So l straightaway drove it to my Ford dealer and still waiting to hear back from them.

Afterwards l checked the FordPass app and it had two warning messages - first - High Voltage Battery Warning and second - Service Engine Soon Warning at the same time when l experienced the power loss issue.

Didn’t face any issues before this. Let’s see what my dealer finds.

I have an update to the High Voltage Battery Warning that I and others on this site have reported. My dealer had my truck for 2 weeks and after discussions with Ford engineers, I was told that Ford advised my service dept.to return the truck to me, basically, they have done nothing aside from recognizing the codes they read and apparently "excessive clutch slippage", but from what I was told they have no idea how to fix it. I reminded my service rep that I felt that this is a very serious safety issue, with the truck suddenly shutting down while driving and telling the driver to pull over. To say I am frustrated that Ford does not take safety seriously is an understatement. I'm hoping that if enough people report this problem, then Ford will issue a TSB and maybe even a recall once they can pinpoint the exact issue.
If anyone else on this site has had this issue and has not reported it, do so now, please. The more of us report it, the more Ford may take this seriously.

These posts are at odds with the "hybrids are more reliable" posts in the other thread.

No, I have not floored the throttle since, Kind of afraid to, but this issue hasn't happened since even though I have heard nothing from Ford. Another issue I recently had was the completely dead issue. My check engine light came on when I was on my way home from work a couple of weeks ago, when I got home and turned the vehicle off, I went around to the passenger side and grabbed the handle to unlock it so I could retrieve something, the Maverick wouldn't unlock, so I tried unlocking with the key fob, nothing. I then went and opened the driver's side door, no lights in the cab nothing. Tried starting, but nothing, the vehicle was dead. So I figured I finally experienced the dead Maverick issue I've been reading about on this site. Around 15 hours later the next day it came back to life, everything worked fine, radio presets were still there and everything and the check engine light was still on though. I drove it to the dealer where I told them there was a TSB out on this issue, the service rep said he didn't see it, so I pulled it up on my phone and showed it to him and he said, oh, I may not be able to see it but the technician would. The bottom line is they are at least 2.5 weeks out from being able to even look at it. I told the guy I was very lucky this didn't happen a week before when we took the truck up to the North Georgia mountains, I would've been stuck. My wife has had it and wants to get rid of it, saying we need reliable transportation, and she's right, reliable transportation is critical, and these are two big issues. I want to see if the dealership comes back with the correct fix for this (TSB). My wife thinks we should look into the Lemon Law here in GA.

Nope, but you’re free to continue to believe that anyway.

If you drive GA 140 from Canton heading northerly, and you lose power, it will be a LOT of fun going around the curves with no power steering. Ugh.
Have you taken a look at the terminal alongside the battery box, just inboard, where the battery cable from the rear-mounted battery terminates? Apparently the connection of the cable to the terminal is sometimes poorly done, resulting in a 'dead battery' condition. If you can move the cable without disturbing the termination, you have a problem. Using a clamp or re-soldering the cable to the terminal are effective, and will avoid the back-ordered replacement cable. There is a YT by 'Ford Boss Me' on the repair. In his case, one of the fuses was also damaged. I think because it was attempting to carry current that would have been provided by the poorly assembled cable, in a 'bypass' mode where the current was not available from where it should have been. IOW, nothing really wrong caused the fuse to blow, and repairing the terminal connection would restore normal current.

Losing power while being driven is a huge safety issue. A stopped vehicle not starting is still better than a vehicle suddenly not accelerating at all. For 2-3 minutes l was scared to death seeing all other vehicles zooming past me while l tried to coast to the curb.

Once l hear from my dealer l will update back. I don’t have high hopes from them but since l gave them my truck with check engine light on, hope they will find something. One good thing in all this is that they have given me a loaner SUV.

Sorry for your experience. Sounds terrifying. Thanks for keeping us informed. Definitely gives you more clout with getting Ford to take this more seriously.
