A family member saw my wallet card with the Master code. I have been missing items in my truck and i suspect this person. The manual states that the 5 digit code may be changed at any time to another BUT the master will always work to unlock! So is there ANY WAY I can prevent this person from gaining access anytime they want to? This is so frustrating. If nothing else i will be forced to disable the keypad and I hate the thought of doing that but I'm stumped. Anyone have any advice ----or am I just forced to disable keypad? I don't think engineers thought this one through!

Maybe a dealer can access it and change the factory setting? I have no idea

Anyone know how to disable the keypad?
I do not, but I am thinking during the setting of mine in sync, whatever?, (late model 21 Naut Black Label) there was an option for changing the factory 5 digit code.

I read in manual Mav factory code remains ....cannot be changed or erased. This is bad safety issue.

Based on what I'm seeing in the owners manual, I don't think you can. Maybe the dealer can change the Master code

Not sure but look in the manual I think it can be done. Thought I read about that somewhere. Sorry I have no more information.

Buy, or borrow, a security camera and catch the person in the act.

Confront him/her and tell them to stop!!.....disable, then re-enable after the dust settles!

Anyone know how to disable the keypad?
You need a Windows PC and the free Forscan app with extended license.
Download the app here, Download FORScan
Free 2 month trial of extended license, Support Request (forscan.org)
And an OBD 2 reader if you don't have one. I have this one, Amazon.com: Vgate vLinker FS OBD2 USB Adapter for FORScan HS/MS-CAN Auto Switch : Automotive

In the APIM module there is a Door Keypad Code line, change Enabled to Disabled.

I haven't done this, so I can't guarantee it works.

2 options to disable it. Use the controls menu on the right of the steering wheel vechile lock settings drive menu or the stereo it's swipe right settings then find the my key one.

You could go with a console safe or rear seat safe anything worth anything gets locked up to set the combo on that you use a paper clip on thr turn nlknob default is 0 0 0 0.
