Heated wiper park is Lariat Lux only.
Luxury Package, yes, Lariat, no. Both XLT and Lariat Luxury Package contain the windshield wiper de-icer to go with the heated seats and mirrors.

Do you have it?
The "element" if the line in the above photo is the element is quite wimpy. I don't know what I was expecting but was expecting more.

(must be more not easily visible)

Thank you, I stand corrected. I thought I read somewhere it was Lariat Lux only.... prolly confused the lux part to be Lariat only, dunno.

Can't find documentation it is temperature dependent but appears it is.

I just pressed the button on a 55 degree day. LED lamp went off after ~2 minutes. Pretty sure it stayed on the whole 30 minute drive at 39 deg.

The mirrors were a few degrees over 100°F in 2 minutes, much warmer than body temp but not hot enough to burn you. Space under the wipers remained at ambient, but I could see the fine wire pictured above.

Anyone else find it weird the wipers have a heating defroster but the rear window doesn't?
The rear window defroster was supposed to be a part of the rear window that has the power window feature (Lariat only), but must have been dropped before production began.

Mine is currently at the dealer to see how you actually make the de-icer activate...

Has yours ever worked? Maybe the line worker missed the coupler connection, or soft-set. That would be an easy fix vs a windshield replacement.

Just talked to the shop foreman - Long story short - There is a relay, battery circuit/module and something else that all work together to supply power to the unit when called for and as of now the circuit isn't being completed. Dealer reached out to tech support but as of now it's been identified as not working but they need more info on the actual schematic before ordering replacement part/parts -

**UPDATE** Ford has finally figured out my non-functioning Lux-Heated wiper park ! Turns out the circuit that supplies current to the windshield did not work- Solution was to replace the entire fuse battery junction block. Its heating up nice and good now and to be honest my start/stop works again- Seems like this junction box could be the cause of multiple electrical issues for these rigs - FYI
