Trying to do a neat dash cam install. Having difficulty getting rear cam wire stuffed up into headliner at the back corner. I'm thinking I may need to lower the rear portion of the headliner, since I can't seem to pry it up enough to get the wire in. Anyone else run into this issue?

I was able to tuck it in carefully using a plastic trim/pry tool. Your other option is to remove the plastic rear pillar speaker panel trim to make it the easiest.

Naw, I just tucked the camera into the corner and ran the wire down behind the seatback, then along the floor trim.

I removed the Pilar trim, but didn't bother running the cable under the headliner. Not noticeable when mounted in the corner(unless you zoom in.)

Has anyone tried fishing the wire from the rear camera to the front camera going direct over the headliner? Maybe removing the rear dome light to insert a fish tape/wire and hopefully find a path to the front dome light area, assuming you don't have the sunroof.

I ran mine down behind the back seat and along the bottom passenger side doors under the plastic trim and up to the fuse box behind the glove box. I have a moonroof so across the headlined could have been problematic.

No, It looked difficult, but straight back over the headlinder would have been much easier run than down A pillar to rocker panels to rear.

I hardwired mine. I ran it up from the passenger fuse panel in the footwell beside the glove box up through the a pillar, I zip tied it everywhere I could on other wiring harnesses so that the wire for the rear dash cam wasn't just loosely dangling or causing a new rattle.

I was able to remove the weather stripping on the doors and tuck it between the headliner and zip tie it to the overhead curtain airbags wiring harness. Then once I got past the rear speaker plastic trim panel above the headliner I was able to tuck it between the headliner and the third brake light it was pretty simple took me about 30 minutes to run the wire from the passenger side fuse panel, up to the front dash camera, then around the edge of the headliner back to the rear dash camera in the center of the glass.

I've hardwired four cars now with front and rear dash cameras, it's really not that bad if you pay attention and take your time.

The worst vehicles to do or SUVs because you've also got to run it through the rear cargo area and through a separate rubberized boot to hide the wire from the vehicle's body to the rear hatch, just takes more time.

Where in fuse box can we tape into power for the dash cam?
I am going to use a Cobra SC-400/D.
Hope it is a spot that goes off when Maverick shuts down.
Technology has moved so far since 2015 vehicles.

Un-used fuse #1/2

It's a 3-pin slot, here's the tap if you need one.

FYI, I originally used a micro-2 tap, as that was all I could find locally. The micro-3 fits better.

I had to find a fuse that shuts off with the ignition and one supplies power all the time as my front and rear dash cams have a vibration sensor that wakes them up to start recording for twenty minutes if the truck is bumped. Don't remember which ones I used as I just used meter to find them.

I didn't think "not used (spare)" fuses had power running to them or am I missing something.
In the case of the fuse 1/2, the center pin is "hot", when ignition is on.

Good to know, is there another unused one with power all the time that you are aware of? I am always hesitant to tap into used ones.
