I’m talking about wanting brighter headlights, I thought that was clear in my original post.
Maybe you need to get together with another maverick owner and compare to see if yours are faulty or misaligned, mine are so bright that I think the brights are on and have to double check.

whatever works i guess. those look like a pain since you have to install resistors yourself. i’ll hope to not have a problem with my Lasfits, but if so, they will do right by me hopefully.
I've been running the lasfits for a year and a half now with no issues

What are you talking about?
I have had my truck for a week now and I've been flashed 3 times.
They are super bright, putting out a wide beam without that look of 2 headlights. And the brights are very bright.
Also, it was explained to me by the dealer that the headlight assembly (you can not just replace the bulb) is not covered in the "bumper to Bumper" warranty and that they are about $600 each - if you could find them.
What are you talking about?

Your dealer lied to you to try and get you to buy the extended warranty. The lights are covered under the Bumper to Bumper 3YR 36K warranty. You can buy the extended warranty and add a ryder for the lights for beyond the 3YR 36k.

I am shocked, shocked I say, that a dealer lied to me.
Now there is nothing to believe in.

Believe me, I probably go too far, but I assume every single thing out of a dealership is a lie.
I made the mistake of stating what always annoys and makes me skip ahead in the reading "My dealer told me" in here.
Some report that "My dealer told me" as if it is a definitive answer to something when in fact it is the opposite.
I stand corrected and myself reprove.

To the original poster, sorry for being a smartass, it's just that these headlights are so bright! You got a great suggestion that you should check the aim - they do seem to be aimed to barely be up enough for the road in the distance probably as was said they aim them assuming you have somewhat of a load in the bed as not to blind people when you do.

I will give that a shot. When the brights are on, lighting is great. But otherwise I find the normal lighting rather dull. Looking at the headlights from the front, they look nice and white and bright. But it doesn’t seem to translate to the blacktop.
The manual that came with your Maverick has a simple aiming guide. You should try before you do anything else I’ve noticed these lights are way plenty bright. But the nature of the new headlights are they have to be aimed exactly because they don’t waste light by throwing it. They focus it. Get help with them aimed and I bet you you’ll find their great

Are these headlights sealed? I’m not happy with the light output, is there anyway to upgrade the headlights?
Curious your not happy, compared to my other vehicles currently owned and any previously owned my mavericks lights are by far the brightest.

If you adjust them please be careful there's already enough idiots out there with improperly adjusted headlights. Every time I drive at night I get blinded at least one time

These headlights are about $1500 each. I wish they were $600 each because I would replace mine with the BAP pkg. headlights.

Factory headlights are the best I have ever had. The auto dim is the only one I have seen that works. I have had a driver's license for 66 years. I had a problem seeing the pavement, but cataract surgery fixed that.

i agree that the low beam is fine as others have said. They are fine on my wife’s xt. If you are unhappy with yours adding running light is a much better solution than messing around with your low beams.

Most of these are just idiots who put aftermarket LED bulbs in halogen reflector housings and the light doesn't get focused properly.

Please don't.
lights are TOO DAMN BRIGHT as it is.

Don't be one of "those" people.

I call "those" people inconsiderate morons.

I'm already wearing sunglasses at night. Front lamps are getting out of control.

The headlights are sealed. It's possible to open them, and there's some room in the housing possibly to add some lighting (speaking only for the XLT, have not seen the Lariat).

I remember seeing a post here where a member added some lighting on the upper part of their XLT headlights.
Are the head lights led or Halligan?
