We recycled our old round Yakima bars. The Yakima towers have a round bar adapter. Simple to install. Directions for placement is a bit fussy. Here’s the setup we used for off island kayak transport. We decided that moving it forward works better. We were able to use all our old round bar gea.r.

My experience with batteries working in a boat yard was that a fully charged battery could go thru the winter (Maine) with the negative disconnected. If it tested fine in spring it was good. Wrong on the doors won’t lock with key inside. Has happened a couple of times on our maverick. Many times on my transit connect. Went to dealer and ordered a “glove box key“, which which will only unlock the door for the transit.

The tech who sprayed in the liner put silcone plugs in holes to prevent that.

In the boat world Anchor connectors are used regularly. They stepped up when Amp left that market

We live on an island serviced by a ferry. It amazes me the number of people who done use the parking brake. With any kind of weather other than flat calm you see the moving back and forth. i do miss a manual emergency brake as they used to be called.

i agree that the low beam is fine as others have said. They are fine on my wife’s xt. If you are unhappy with yours adding running light is a much better solution than messing around with your low beams.

I agree with you on the strength issue. I use the slots in bed with 2x’s to keep loads from shifting. I use the eyes to tie down loads like brush and tree limbs.

I liked the idea but didn’t feel I needed infinite flexibility for the ring attachment points for my use. I used Stainless lock washers to give myself the flexiblity of having them oriented the same way.

My wife is very happy with her Carhart seat covers from Covercraft. She had the same seat covers for years on her 2001 Ranger

The outfit that did our Rhino liner remove tie downs as well as putting in silicone plugs in all threaded holes. First class. They added a bit more grit per our request at no extra charge. Ziebart/Rhino liner Biddeford, Maine. Highly recommend.
