Yes you can edit the ABS module in easy mode in the latest ForScan revision

1. Configure ABS module
2. Set SDM-ABS “disabled”. This turns off the packaging of the modes (non FX4 and FX4) and lets them be individually available
3. “Enable” whatever drive modes you want to have

After you write the change, whichever modes you switched on will be individually selectable and functional.
Thank you for a simple direct answer.

👍🏼. The only thing I would note is that I only know that works on an FX4. I got lost in the earlier stuff on this thread so I am not sure if the process would work the same on a non FX4. If you have an FX4 and have some basic ForScan knowledge/comfort level, the drive modes take about 10 min using the easy mode.

What did you do to key cycle the truck?
Turn off, take the key out, open and close the door and wait a couple minutes. Changes were loaded and available next time I started the truck

I just used Forscan to add mud and snow to the cluster and did a short test drive to see if they worked and they did!. Just to be sure I didn't lose eco and sport, I tried them out and both still work. I did this using the easy method. I'm confident I could have used the code method, but the easy method is, well, easy. Always save or write down the original values in case your changes do not work.

Apologies if this was answered before, setting SDM-ADB "Disabled" does this turn off ABS or is it just a setting?

I think it stands for "Selectable Drive Modes - ABS", which basically means it uses the ABS version to determine what drive modes are useable. This prevents you from using overlapping drive modes between FX4 and non-FX4.

So disabling this won't actually disable ABD from working? (that's what I think I'm reading)

Correct. I’ve done this and have no ABS issues or changes in braking behavior

ABS stands for "As Built System"

You turn this off because you don't want the option "As Built" by Ford but you want different setting then come from Ford.

I've never understood this. The dealer is not ford, they are a franchise that gets paid by ford to do warranty work. If Ford has requirements that have to be met then sure I can see them needing to validate certain things before submitting the warranty claim, but why would they "look for reasons not to cover things" beyond that?
I used to put large lifts on my new Rangers and they would only not cover items that weren’t factory. My local dealer was great about covering issues. Not that there were many but the few I had weren’t ever an issue.

Has anyone figured out if we can adjust the tire size for the speedo? Is there only a specific range that will work?
I did see a place where it appears you can change the tire 🛞 size but that was on the YouTube video I watched & am not certain due to never trying it myself yet.
