Hard tonneau cover. Does it flip up?

On the 3 panel hard tonneau covers, the third panel closest to the cab does not flip up towards the cab when needing to haul things.
Does the ford one that comes with the maverick flip up ?

There’s no way to prop it up to drive with it open? My Rough Country has little support rods.

Yeah, when I took that picture I had just gotten the truck and was fiddling with the features. I hadn't put the struts in place. As you can see on the flipped-up part of the cover, you can slide to adjust the angle for the struts as well.

Very little water gets in. Even after I wash it, it's like a teaspoonful, spread out. I'm very pleased with that, because I've seen lots of complaints here about covers leaking.
I figure that as it ages (I keep it parked outside in the Florida sun) that will probably change.

This looks identical to the BakFlip. Do yourself a favor and get the BakFlip and save a few bucks.

Or search Amazon for the Leer HF650. It’s a quad fold. I paid $1,100 for mine. There was a post here last week with the Amazon link with a price of $650 I believe.

that's because it is a bakflip mx4.

the Ford 'factory' tonneau covers are all just OEM versions of the same accessories you can buy elsewhere. the soft tri-fold is a gator sfx, the soft roll-up is a truxedo, and so on.

it usually is cheaper to buy them somewhere other than Ford, yes.

My factory tri-fold leaks very little with I wash, however at the automatic high pressure car wash it does get more than a little wet inside... I can live with that, I just open the 1st flip when I get home and let it try in the garage (spayin liner and rubber mat). lol

i have the Ford branded MX4 that was on my order. But i really like the way your cover stays up without touching the cab glass.

As far as leaks go, i have bins in the back similar to this picture and i didnt think i would need the cover. When the 1st rain hit in January, i put the tops on the bins and i get a little bit of water on the lids that seems to align with the first fold of my tri-fold. i use the bins like drawers and i have a Harbor Freight ratcheting bar to make sure they dont fly towards the front.
