Got the two front windows tinted

I got the driver and passenger windows tinted today. I used Kavaca by Ceramic pro 55%. In NJ any tint that is not factory is illegal. However I see many vehicles that have limo dark tint. So I went for it. Attached are before and after. Hard to see but from inside made a big difference.

I am 70. Really not so dark. Just enough.

Had cataract surgery in January . both eyes 2 weeks apart. Great difference . colors more vibrant . I am 74 and didn't want to wait until next drivers license renewal in 2 years . required eye testing in Florida . must have at least 20 / 40 vision minimum . I am now 20/20 for distance without glasses and bifocals for reading . already wearing bifocals prior to surgery so nothing new to get use to . So don't need to wear glasses for driving or other activities that don't need up close viewing. Carry cards that state it was done for possible police stops but always wear glasses anyhow . been wearing glasses since 3rd grade so very use to them .

I did the same on my '23. As a 50% tint on the front is the legal limit for trucks in Illinois.

you can get 75% ceramic and it's still better than nothing at all

I have 20% on my truck with a 20% banner across the top of the windshield It really helps

The rear windows are 22%, so I went with 25% and it matches pretty well. It is too dark for NY, but I see cops all the time and they haven't bothered me in the 2 years I've had it on. As long as you aren't doing anything else illegal, they don't tend to hassle you about your tint.

I am going to the eye doctor in a couple weeks. I cat see anything without my glasses. Hopefully there is something I can do.

Cataract surgery was painless but the drops was pia imo . Fortunately my wife helped with them . glad I had it done .

Not to change the thread. But could you bend over after the surgery? My wife needs cataract surgery and she's concerned about that. Thanks

Clear tint is available. Heat and UV protection without the darkness of tint.

No . 3 days no bending or head down movement . also wore hard plastic patch at night for sleeping over surgery eye .
