Put me in the "looks better" camp. Just not a fan of stickers, anywhere, in general.
I have the same opinion. No stickers, especially dealership stickers! I made sure the dealership I bought my Maverick from didn't have a policy of placing their decals on vehicles that they sell. If they did I would have asked them not to put the decal on. I hate the dealership license plate frames they always put on. I just take them off first thing.

The tailgate Maverick stickers aren't for me either. I understand the customization appeal, but the potential of the letters fading and dirt collection under the lettering is a concern.

I went so far as to take the hybrid badge off the tailgate too.

I like the truck a lot better now. I was wondering if the top is painted black or is it a wrap?

Definetly needs a paint matched hood scoop.

I found a heat gun, it this a difficult job, I'm worried about screwing up the paint underneath.. My mav is about a month old..
Super simple, even easier if you got a garage or if you do it on a warmer sunny day. If you get a warm sunny day park outside in the sun for an hour you can gently use your fingernail to get the decal started to come loose then slowly peel it off.

If you have a garage and a heat gun I would heat up the decal for about 5 minutes a piece and remove one at a time.

Seeing your in Arizona it should be on the warmer side and possibly sunny.

Wrap the top. See if they can color match. Looks good without the black fake stickers.
