I have the same opinion. No stickers, especially dealership stickers! I made sure the dealership I bought my Maverick from didn't have a policy of placing their decals on vehicles that they sell. If they did I would have asked them not to put the decal on. I hate the dealership license plate frames they always put on. I just take them off first thing.Put me in the "looks better" camp. Just not a fan of stickers, anywhere, in general.
The tailgate Maverick stickers aren't for me either. I understand the customization appeal, but the potential of the letters fading and dirt collection under the lettering is a concern.
I went so far as to take the hybrid badge off the tailgate too.
