Gator soft tonneau - should it ripple like this?

Hey all, this is my first tonneau install so I wanted to check with other's experiences to see if this is right.

I have the Gator SFX soft trifold and the ribs of the frame appear to stick up pretty high into the cover so they are very visible. Other than that it fits well, but it doesn't look great. Is this normal? It's hard to tell from review videos, but they don't look as bad as this.

Ah, I hadn't thought of that. The sunshine will relax the metal frame? Or just the vinyl top?

it's always going to rise over the metal, because they are bowed to create tension. but it will fit more snug once the sun comes and the vinyl softens

Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll let it go and wait for spring as long as this looks normal
