Fuel Filler Door

Just in Anticipation:
I have a standard, no frills 2024 XLT.
While the Hybrid and Fancy ones have an electric release of the fuel filler door (and a workaround when it fails):
Is there a workaround for the mechanical door if when you push it, it doesn't release or open?
Wandered through some 500 pages of the manual, didn't see anything.

If I recall, there is a little plastic wedge in the tire change kit behind the back seat. You are supposed to use it to pry open the gas door if needed. Sort of like when you lock your keys in the car and the AAA guy comes and puts an inflatable bag in your door frame and basically rips it open (enough to thread a wire in to poke your door unlock button).

I did not see a tab. It is shown for Hybrid and electric release doors.

The hybrids have a pressurized fuel system and require a remote filler door mechanism. The non-hybrid "fancy ones" have the same filler door as you do. Since there is no lock mechanism, just pull it open and fix what was blocking it from opening.
