Those of you that have replaced your front side marker bulbs with LasFit LED's did you use white or amber?

Thanx.

Amber. Definitely a big improvement overall.

And for those who replaced the side marker, how easy was it to pop the housing out?

I am planning on also applying 3-4 layers of frog tape or similar up against the light where he pries the light out with that tool. Using plastic tools too, metal ones will stay in the tool box. :ROFLMAO:

Notice the latches on the light. Slight pressure seems to be required pushing forward on the light housing to release the latch on the back side of the light. Big thing for me is protecting the paint.

Butch, you are right on the money. I used the amber Lasfit. I also had watched a couple of video's and did exactly as the video you posted. Good tips on plastic tool, using tape, hinge like on the front edge of lens. Very easy install and great lights. I have changed all my exterior to Lasfit bulbs and am considering interior bulbs also. Not that expensive. I own a 2002, 40 foot diesel pusher motor home. Changed to all led's inside and out a few years ago because we boon dock quite a bit and really reduced battery draw a lot. Don't even ask how much that cost!

Thanx Sarge on your input. I figured I needed the amber, but no harm in getting confirmation from those who have already done this like yourself. I got the bulb # from LasFit and found it on Amazon with free shipping. Amazon says the bulb will not fit, but LasFit says it does so I will go with that. $9.00 out the door with coupon code. :)

Thank you for your service. (y)

Thank you and the rest on this forum for all the excellent advice, video's and recommendations! I have done a dozen plus mods to my new Maverick and all of them were "stolen" from this site. There are people on here who are simply amazing and talented. My next adventure will be purchasing OBD2 device and Forscan software for some changes I would like. I ran a part-time computer repair business out of my home for about 25 years so am not to scared! The key word on the Forscan changes (just like Microsoft, Windows) is "BACKUP" .

Oh, yeah true story there are some really smart buggers on this site. I admire their knowledge and chutzpah to roll up their sleeves and jump in.

I try to give back to the community here in my own small way. Like you, I have stolen many ideas from here. LOL. I'm an old school 60's / 70's muscle car type guy. I try with the new technology, but nowhere near as good at it as the younger guys here.

Eventually I will try ForScan I believe but currently in no rush.
