Has anyone encountered this? I am not sure how it happened, kind of looks like it was kicked in. I was able to pop out the marker and assumed it was broken brackets, but, its actually whatever the marker assembly plugs into that is bumped in. Any idea how I could fix it? The light still works.

Seems like that could protect it if I get it fixed, not sure how that would move it back in place. Trying to see if it's an easy fix or if it would require a lot a disassembly.

Agree - the cover won’t fix it, sorry.

But the aftermarket cover has a tight seal and would keep out rain etc. Until you get/reach down under to see how many plastic bits you’d need to remove to get at the assembly from behind:)

if the holding brackets are busted in the back, i would get some clear rtv

https://amzn.to/4tnT9lF

and gloop it... put some masking tape around the lens, and around the bumper, gloop, smooth out bead with your finger and pull off tape.

not a bad idea, but, the problem is that its really hard to get the current assembly to even pull forward, I would probably have to do with the current assembly unhooked from the bumper

well it seems like its hooked up on the back still, so i would just fiddle with it as is, tape, goop, pull forward and leave to set.

you could also pull back the wheel liner and reach from back there.

Could you pull out the light and take a photo of the area behind.??

Purdy please.. 😄

Or If I don't forget, I can take MINE apart to see what is back there.
I have a feeling it is ALL Plastic.. ☹

Drivers side is the harder side to get into. There is a module and bracket in the way from comfortably getting a hand in there. Hopefully the tabs that are on the light housing itself are not broken

Haven't encountered that but did have broken light. 2 plastic holder left and right.some people say easy to get out mine was horrible.cant get from under. If skinny arm could get from top but I got all cut up. Have plastic tools to remove from front. Was easy but u can mark up truck. I taped cardboard and plastic tool laid on that when I pryed off

^ This.

It's easy to get to the back of this one on the passenger side with the splash shield off and front of the wheel liner popped loose. The driver's side can be done from underneath only if you have small, skinny hands.

Even removing the entire bumper isn't difficult, it just takes some time to undue all of the fasteners...

I tried removing it from inside the wheel well and it was crowded as you all said. I ended up just popping it off with a plastic pry tool. The brackets are all solid like I said, maybe I need to look into a bumper removal video.

I would not use silicone use shoe glue or goop glue excellent products
I've used them on my fog lights
And it's printable silicone is not

Thank you for the photo, yes, my front marker assembly looks just like that with the clips intact, but, the mounting socket is pushed back and i can move it back and forth to an extent, almost as though one of the mounting brackets of the socket is broken and not the other. I am having trouble finding what the actual part number for that.
