I've had my XLT hybrid for 2 years now and I'm really enjoying the fuel effiency. How much will I miss saving gas vs how much fun will I gain with the Tremor?

Pretty sure the fun will out weigh the fuel difference!!!!

I too, enjoyed the fuel economy of the hybrid, however I am near certain that I would still own a Maverick had I chosen one of the 4x4 EcoBoost versions.

How much do you drive a year? and what do you plan to do with a Tremor that you can't do with your hybrid.

I'm facing the same decision, I have a '24 Lariat Hybrid coming in but the dealer has a '24 Lariat Tremor that someone backed out on and is willing to cut a nice deal. Decisions decisions. I have a XLT FX4 right now that I really like but I keep thinking the Hybrid is what I originally wanted.

If you figure on twice as much fuel, you will be happy when it's a little less than that. However go off-road, use trail control or better yet mash the throttle on any terrain and you will have a lot of fun. It has a touch of lag and then all of a sudden you are about to hit 80 and it's still pulling hard.

It depends on what you are using your tremor for.

I was faced with a similar decision. I purchased a 2022 XL Hybrid and discovered quickly how much I was not too fond of the CVT and stiff rear suspension.

I was able to drive an EB AWD. I like the transmission and independent rear suspension on the AWD. I sold the XL Hybrid and ordered an EB AWD.

I am much happier with the EB AWD and accept a 10-15 MPG drop.

My son, however, liked the hybrid and its gas mileage better. Thus, he owns a 23 XLT Hybrid.

If you want one quickly, Long McArthur (Salina, Kansas) had over 40 Mavericks at or below MSRP on their lot as of Tuesday (during their live YouTube session). We bought my son's Maverick there and had an enjoyable father/son drive home to Southern California.

The 2024 XL Hybrid we originally ordered for him has been scheduled for the week of April 22. My wife likes my Maverick enough that we are tempted to buy it for her and replace the PHEV Escape.
