OK, so I made changes to ACM in easy mode and now can't read the module. To restore to factory, is it as simple as loading factory ACM as built and then write all and reboot?

I want to do this to get access to eco mode on my fx4. Anyone know if this would void my warranty?

In the video, you mention the importance of HS/MS. What does HS/MS mean?

MS-CAN = Medium Speed Canbus, 125 Kbps.
HS-CAN = High Speed Canbus, 500Kps.

Ford's info for 22-24 Maverick:
High Speed Controller Area Network 1, 2, 3 and 4 (HS-CAN1, HS-CAN2, HS-CAN3 and HS-CAN4)
The High Speed-Controller Area Networks (HS-CANs) operate at a maximum data transfer speed of 500 Kbps and are designed for real-time powertrain, audio, multimedia and driver feature information transfer and control.
The GWM translates the diagnostic messages from the DIAG2 network to the HS-CAN2 , HS-CAN3 and HS-CAN4 allowing communication between the modules and the diagnostic scan tool.

Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN)
The MS-CAN operates at a maximum data transfer speed of 125 Kbps and is designed for general information transfer.
The GWM transfers messages between the diagnostic scan tool and the modules on the MS-CAN.
The GWM translates the diagnostic messages from the DIAG2 to the MS-CAN and vice versa, allowing communication between the modules on the MS-CAN and the diagnostic scan tool.

The GWM is mounted under the driver side instrument panel. The OBD connector is fitted to the GWM.
The GWM acts as a central gateway to translate messages across all 5 vehicle Controller Area Networks (CANs).
The GWM is the only module on the vehicle with this ability. The GWM also serves as a termination module for each of the networks to which it is connected.
The 2 module communication networks connected to the DLC are DIAG1 and DIAG2.
These 2 networks communicate directly with the diagnostic scan tool.
The other 5 communication networks do not communicate directly with the diagnostic scan tool.
The GWM translates the messages from the HS-CAN1 to DIAG1.
The GWM translates messages from the HS-CAN2 , HS-CAN3 , HS-CAN4 and MS-CAN to DIAG2 which transfers the signals to the diagnostic scan tool.

2025 Maverick's Controller Area Network (CAN) Module Communications Network(s)
• FD-CAN1 -- Gateway Module to PCM, ABS, AWD, BCMC, SOBDMC
• FD-CAN2 -- Gateway Module to TCU
• FD-CAN3 -- Gateway Module to PSCM, IPMA
• HS-CAN1 -- Gateway Module to BCM, BECMB
• HS-CAN2 -- Gateway Module to ACCM, BECM, DCDC, PACM, OCS, RCM, SCCM, GSM,
• HS-CAN3 -- Gateway Module to APIM, ACM, DSP, IPC, TRM, WACM
• MS-CAN --- Gateway Module to DDM, PDM, RTM, HVAC

Basically, MS-can accesses certain modules while HS-can accesses other modules. Together they access all modules on your ford.

After 20 months of using my FORScan enabled cruise control (2022 XL Hybrid), I took my truck into my dealer for some recall work and when I got it back, cruise control no longer worked. Of course the dealer says they didn't do anything to cause this change.

The issue is with the change to the BdyCM Module. While the SCCM and ABS changes I made persist, the BdyCM change does not. FORScan will not let me make that change. When I try to write the change, I get a message that says "The vehicle conditions are incorrect." When I connect I did notice that my ELM327 connector throws some errors. I don't think it did that previously.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be grateful. I am going to try to get some help from the FORScan Forums and Community.

Thanks in advance.
Apologies for digging up an old thread. Did you find a resolution for this issue Michael? I'm running into the exact same issue.

Any advice from the Forscan experts would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Edit: Me not bright . Key was in acc., not run. All good now.

I know you solved it, but another common/easy mistake is starting Forscan with the adapter in MS mode (If you have a switched version).
I noticed if I click the 'connect to vehicle' in Forscan in MS mode I get an initial error(s).

TLDR: Switch to HS mode before you click 'connect to vehicle'.

Thanks for all your input. Great thread. 👍 I did a bunch of stuff to my Ranger in Forscan so at least I am familiar with it.
