I have a question please. I preordered a Mav on 09/15/22 . How to I get the points? Do I need to create some kind of account? Dealer didnt say a word about this to me. Thank you in advance!

You will need a ford pass account. Download the app. You definitely want to have it before you purchase your truck as you will get 42000 pts worth $210.

Members must be logged into the site to earn and/or redeem rewards Points. Anything available on the accessories website can be purchased with points. It took about 30 business days to receive my points after purchase.

Unfortunately, being in Oklahoma I can't even order from that website. I have no idea why neither did my dealer when I asked.

The website it redirects to doesn't honor the discounts, such as the 18% off you see on the screen there. Doubt it will let you use Ford points.

According to the FordPass FAQs, you don't earn FordPass points for purchasing accessories, only parts, and also purchasing a new Ford vehicle and having your vehicle serviced. So accessory purchases don't earn FordPass points, however, you can use the points for accessory redemption.

When I first ordered accessories from the website (paying with CC) I thought it was odd that points were not accrued, but I correctly assumed that was the norm (never read the FAQ).

That's not how I read it. It clearly says "redeem". You will be able to pay for accessories with FordPass points, not accrue them. See first paragraph.

Yes, you cannot redeem nor earn FordPass points without logging in.

I think you can use the 18% discount. Cause the points are treated like cash.

Want to give a big shout out to FairwayFordparts.net. Very fast response has the discounted price on the site and was able to use my ford points through them. Also shipped immediately afterwards. Awesome service if anyone wants to use their FordPass points without having to go into a dealer.

I have enough FP points for one or the other. I’m not sure I want Fords rubber mats…like the 3D and TuxMat brands better, so leaning spoiler.
ALSO, The 18% off offer is good to have, but I’ve seen better.
