Ford trackers and dealer saying different things

Has anyone had an issue where their Ford tracker still shows "In Production" but dealer says it has shipped and I have a delivery window.

I talked to Ford Chat and they also still show in production. Not sure who to believe, and don't want to get my hopes up that it will actually be delivered.

The tracker isn't as detailed as the dealer's tracker.

If you actually call Ford, not use their chat, they will pull the information that the dealer sees.
This response did not answer the question; as to which source of information would be trustworthy. Genuinely I do not think that any source, any one of us can access, is reliable. It is a broken communications system within Ford - and it is only exacerbating the level of frustration and disappointment with Ford in advance of receiving the truck.

Have your opinions, the only fact evident will be when the truck is at the dealer and you are signing papers to own or lease it.

Started a similar Thread yesterday: illustrating 3 different answers from 3 Ford contacts. I hope FoMoCo's Forum Search Team is paying attention!

3 Different Replies, same day, same question [has the sniff of a shell game or 3-card Monty]

[Admitting that the entertainment value remains high, but only because 'gallows humor' is still humor...]

Dove into the Ford Tracker (again) today, with VIN # in hand and a rumored Production date of 8-8 (which morphed into 8-10 after the last Ford email). The Tracker generated the same answer as each previous Tracker query: in Production, check with your Dealer for Updates; strike 1.

I then dove into Ford Chat, asked "what's up with this VIN", which generated this answer: In Production with an ETA of 8-27 to 9-3; strike 2

I copied this response and sent it to my salesman, who came back with this gem: "I show it as still being in Mexico, awaiting shipment"; strike 3.

Being a Salesman in a former life, I'd think this final piece of information would be something my salesman would forward as soon as it came across his screen, but I'd be wrong.

Yes, this concluding chapter of this saga appears to still be month(s) out and today's "Pick One, Any One" responses has thrown the O/U 'Drive Off' date into utter chaos (also entertaining!).

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming...

Yes they truly have no idea. I got a vin after calling customer service. My dealer confirmed it. However Ford tracker still shows nothing. Don't their systems talk to each other? Or perhaps they just don't work. Having worked in IT I would have my head handed to me.

Or perhaps... obsessing over every, single, tiny, incremental "change" in your ordered Maverick's progress to the dealer is stupid.

When it rolls off the truck you'll get a call or email.

It's really binary, fellas.

Your order is either at the dealer, or it's not.

Order tracker for me still shows Shipped even though I have it parked outside. The dealer has access to the most updated information on your order via the Vehicle Visibility tool.

The most accurate is the Visibility Report. Your dealer is the only one that can get that. Ask them to send you a screenshot of it. If you have a good/nice dealer, then will send it to you.
