I got the same email saying my order is confirmed. Funny how it's been built, shipped and delivered already LOL.

I got one of these emails. I ordered in December so I didn't really expect an "in production" email but I must admit that my heart skipped a beat when I first saw it..and I am sure that Ford is aware of that reaction from thousands of us hanging in limbo expecting Ford to cancel their order.

Received at 10:10pm EDT. First communication since I ordered the Maverick. I am glad that I got the email as it confirms that my dealer actually got the order into the system, which was a major concern of mine.

The title and header are a little misleading to say the least. I wonder if Ford is prodding you to remove some of the options that are on constraint. That is up to you, the buyer ONLY. Don't remove something you really want. This is your vehicle and your money. Get what you want!

As stated earlier, if you did NOT receive the email - you might want to find out what the story is. Maybe they don't have your email address, the email address they have on file is not correct, or your order was never placed into the order banks.

As for me. As a next-to-last day order, I am fine waiting for a 2023 and actually might prefer it at this point. So, no sour grapes from me.

Stay positive folks, you will get your Maverick. Just try to remain as patient as possible. Some things are out of our control.

Heart did a small leap then came back down to reality when I read it. Definitely no "change in order."

Got ours at 10:34 PM EST. Order date 1/27/22 - Oxford White XLT EB, AWD, FX4, LUX w/DIBL, CP360, manual sliding rear window and full-size spare.

I just dropped CP360 last week in order to AVOID this kind of email. At this point I kind of doubt we are going to see our trucks this model year. I'd cancel the order altogether but I'm honestly curious to see if Ford throws us a bone for making us wait so long.

It's already been posted here, but the earthquake in Japan caused a shutdown of a company that makes automotive chips. Some reporting says they are the largest manufacturer in the world supplying 1/3 of the chips needed for the industry. Coincidence?

I got the mail too. Importatant change. Wait no change! At least it's nice to hear something. I wonder about the timing being Friday evening. That is when controversial news is released. By Monday it's old news.
