Did you get an order sheet from the dealership with an Order Code and Sales Code (top right info on page)?

If so, call 1-800-392-3673 during normal business hours and ask to confirm that it’s in.

The lady I talked to to make sure my order was in and waiting for a VIN was super nice and got me the info very quickly.

If they are going to purge Sunday, and Monday orders how come we got a confirmation email? If you didn't get an email, the dealer screwed up and entered the wrong email address either accidentally or on purpose.

My dealer entered the wrong email address so I didn't get a confirmation email. Ford Customer Service said my order was in, unscheduled, and clean. Now, I'm just wondering if I'll get any emails along the process... I mean, the dealer SAID they fixed it but who knows?

It is entirely possible Ford was planning on building X Mavericks and had the software set to stop taking orders at that point, X. Then, after they closed the order bank, something happened which would limit the number of Mavericks they could make to some kind of formula like { X- Sunday and Monday orders}.
At that point, it would make sense that Ford has 4 choices:
1. Cancel all the Sunday and Monday orders now to prevent worse customer backlash later.
2. Wait it out and maybe extend the production year or expand production capability and feel the wrath if they can't make them.
3. Hope that there are enough cancellations that things will work out.
4. Use dealer allocations to fill pre-orders.

Whatever. I haven't gotten a confirmation email so I'm a little bitter.

As I mentioned previously I have a signed by me Preview Order sheet with personal contact info. It of course has the Sales and Order codes which I used to contact Ford Marketing CS as well as Chat starting on 9/21 and every other day up to now.
My dealer rep claims it was in the system last Monday but when he checked this past Monday it was missing from the group of orders submitted.
Why It took till today to notify me is anyones guess. I’m sure they will try to sell me a dealer stock order that is coming or have one ordered but it won’t be a hybrid since they can’t order one so not interested at all. I’ll wait another year and go to a more informed dealer if this order really goes south as I expect. They are still “working to get answers from Ford” 😏 This dealer was highly rated so go figure.

I think OP's dealer is just full of shit. Why would Ford start canceling orders based on date when we already know they go off of priority code? What if a bunch of dealers placed orders on Sunday and Monday and those were the first orders they placed for MY2023? Makes no sense in the face of the already known allocations and priority system Ford is doing.

Maybe at OP's particular dealership they placed all the orders at the same priority code and the dealer is surmising later orders placed on Sunday and Monday won't get built, which is possible if the priority codes were all the same at that particular dealership. So I'm gonna chalk this rumor as just unsubstantiated speculation by the OP's dealer unless more evidence presents itself.

What does it say on the order preview below the customer signature and date?

“This order has not been submitted to the order bank”. He claims the order was submitted before I returned the signed Preview which is what I was thinking could be the reason I wasn’t contacted by Ford but so much more is coming out since then it’s really looking like a total shit show from the start.

I wanted to add to this post as I’m in the same boat.

In 2022 I got a confirmation email the same day my truck was placed. This wasn't built and the way Ford handled the older orders I was in my dealer’s ear well before the banks opened.

The dealer assured me the order was placed and warned me emails might be delayed a few days. Lurking here I saw people posting their confirmation orders and called Ford for the first time 2 days later after the banks closed. My order was not in the system; they asked me to wait and call back in 2 days.

I waited 5 days more and then called Ford again. They were able to see my old order without issue, but my new one was nowhere to be seen. The representative was concerned as well after a week and hoped the dealer didn’t mess up the order as they would no longer accept one.

I got myself worked up a bit and contacted the dealer as I thought I was isolated in this incident; I was concerned the sales manager didn’t put it in due to any number of reasons. The thought of losing the private offer and having no chance at 2023 after waiting a year was difficult.

My dealer claims he and the sales manager contacted Ford. Ford claimed to be experiencing system glitches, but will make sure they (Ford) will place the order in the following days. Additionally they let the dealer know, probably in a non sugared customer response, things were a mess trying to get these in. I'm hopeful, but I’m still gonna sit on this egg to warm it.

Seeing your post makes me feel better. When we see high traffic hit a site that doesn’t usually handle that, it crashes and goes down; I feel this is probably what the ‘glitches’ in the software are. I don’t know the numbers, but do we expect Ford’s intake process could handle 80,000 trucks in 5 days without a hiccup? I once ordered a XL hot black coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts and they messed up the order.

Once again I got worked up because I didn’t see anyone else saying they were in my situation. I see a few people just in this thread stating they don’t have confirmation orders and now we have multiple people going through the exact same scenario.

I have done everything I can do, it sounds like you have done everything you can do. I’d much rather be driving your new Ranger than my very old Escape, but it’s out of our hands. All we can do is wait and start mentally forming a plan B. I hope more people will come in and post if they have not gotten their confirmation orders or are experiencing this exact same issue.

That doesn't make any sense.

Ford released a notice to the dealers on Monday saying that the order bank for the Hybrid will be closing on Tuesday and the EcoBoost closing on Wednesday. The order banks for both closed at that the exact time that they stated and not any earlier or later.

Ford already knew how many orders had been submitted at that point. So why would they now be purging all orders from Sunday and Monday?
I stopped into the dealership where I ordered my Maverick & the sales manager said that 90.000 Mavericks were ordered while the order bank was open.

All this BS makes me happy that I sat there at the desk while my guy entered the order. I mean either it was entered or it wasn't.

I wish I had done that. Everything was done via email for me and it seemed great until it wasn’t. I’ve negotiated 2 new vehicles in the past solely on emails but not special orders so this is a live and learn for the future for sure.

To be fair they could have done the same thing while you were sitting there.

Well, the only thing is why doesn't simply ford limit the total number of orders via software? As soon as X number of orders are entered and it closes out. This is a fairly easy thing to do in software. They could always reopen the order banks later if they decided they could handle more orders.
it depends more on what is ordered. What packages and options. They could build more XL EB FWD than anything. If they all wanted a hitch receiver, then they may only be able to complete X number.
