I took delivery of my Maverick on Friday 2/9. Was told the pass points would load in a few days and they could be used on oil changes, etc.Our dealership told us Ford pass points could only go towards accessories, and not be used on maintenance items.
Almost 2 months. How long after you picked your truck up did it take for your points to show up and did you just have to keep looking in the app?
Agreed. I have actually never heard of a Ford dealership that won't take FordPass points for service. You may try another dealer if possible, I’ve used them on a bed mat and service.
Alright, I'm gonna have to have words with my dealership then.I took delivery of my Maverick on Friday 2/9. Was told the pass points would load in a few days and they could be used on oil changes, etc.
I planned to do same thing, oil changeOil changes and that is it.
Did all the dealer ask for the same points for oil change ?We just took delivery on a 2024 XLT and put the points into oil change service...we're getting 4 complete oil changes with our points. I don't have time or the required tools to do it myself, so it's a good use for the points to me.
whatever a works and tax costs, that's exactly the points I have seen deducted. it's 2 points per penny so it's pretty easy to match the amount of FordPass points consumed to your work order.Did all the dealer ask for the same points for oil change ?
I used mine to buy Carhartt seat covers.Hello,
I just got my new Maverick and am waiting for the Ford Pass Points to hit my account -- Trying to figure out what to buy with them. At first I thought heavy duty floor mats, then I realized I couldn't wait a month for those and ordered some just this afternoon from Rough Country.
My next thought is the Ford Dashcam they offer (https://accessories.ford.com/dashcam-140-dash-camera-1), and then have it installed at the dealer.
45,800 points for the Camera, and 19,200 for the Install, so I would have to pay out the difference of like - $115 give or take, I don't see many other options that I like on the website.
- What did you buy with them?
- Would you buy it again?
- Suggestions on what to get?
Thanks! Have a great day

Good idea... Thanks. Hadn't thought to use points at Granger.Used mine when I purchased a premium care Ford Protect plan from Granger
42000 points($210) are even not enough for three oil change.whatever a works and tax costs, that's exactly the points I have seen deducted. it's 2 points per penny so it's pretty easy to match the amount of FordPass points consumed to your work order.
