How to spend FordPass points?

Bought a new Mustang GT last year and traded it in for the 2022 Maverick XLT (which was only through a heavy stroke of luck). Immediately took it camping next day in the Appalachian Mountains. Now I have 84,000 FordPass points ($420) and I'm trying to figure out which accessories to put on the Mav. I am trying to get more into kayaking and biking now that I have a truck but what do you guys think is essential for the Maverick that might not come with the stock truck? I have the XLT Luxury Package, moonroof, and manual rear-sliding window.

Unfortunately, you need to go through Service to use it. SOME dealers allow Parts Dept. to use them, but not all as it's supposed to be through Service or Sales (down).

I used points in Parts (at my selling dealer) to get a Built-Ford-Tough receiver.
Then I used points in Service (at another store, Parts could not process it) to purchase locking lugs.

Discovered when one goes through Service, you get Milestones, where from Parts, one does not. Points are used for purchase. Milestones are used for Tier building (the more, the higher, the more points earned). Milestones expire after 12/31/yy, so one must keep going through Service to earn Milestones. Points carry over to a longer expiration.

Both are use 'em or lose 'em .....

Talk to dealer and see if the parts can do it first then ask if not can the sales do it for you. and use whatever you want to spend on it

If you want to save 20% on all accessories, you can use an official Ford parts dealer like
https://www.fairwayfordparts.net/ they are able to create a custom invoice for you to use your Ford Points.

Have you considered a bed cover? If you want to possibly get a bed rack (rail system above the bed) there are a only a few options currently that work with a bed cover as well.

What length kayak(s) do you have, or do you expect to have in the near future? You can definitely get a hitch extender before going for a bed/roof rack system. But if you are really loading up the truck to the gills then the bed rack might be very useful for you.
