Thank you for taking an interest in my predicament. The Ford Pass app is fully functional after driving and then parking the Maverick. Several hours later, or certainly the next day, when I go to the app the top part of the screen displays a box with a yellow exclamation point and wording that the vehicle is in "Battery Saver Mode. Start your vehicle manually to access remote commands."
All other fields such as fuel level, tire pressures, etc are blank or contain dashes. If I go outside to start the vehicle I don't need the app. The point is, is to use the app to start the vehicle remotely.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
That's not the app, that's your 12 volt battery charge level being low. Well known issue with the hybrids. Search the forum for "battery saver mode" and you will find pertinent discussions.

Good day

I believe your app is fine....however, as your truck is in Battery Saver Mode, your 12 volt battery isn't!

The truck is trying to save what little battery you have so that it can make the connections so you can start it when you need it.

Have you had all the updates available from Ford for Module updates (Air conditioning module, trailer module, etc)?

Do you have a smart Battery charger that is appropriate for your truck 12 volt battery-AGM, SLA, FLA?

If you have a voltage meter to check your battery voltage, wait till 1.5 hours after you last shut it off (and lift the engine bonnet (to access the boost points) so you don't wake up the truck electrically by opening the door later on...don't have your truck key/fob in your pocket as well).

Here is a handy AGM BATTERY CHART, in case you have an AGM battery.

For whatever reason, possibly due to battery age (not likely, but possible), or insufficient charge levels from your truck (check the thread "12 volt Battery Drain Solved" or close to that for more details)...long story short on that thread is to turn on your headlights, park lights or plug in a light into your trailer Hitch plug...these things will up the truck charge rate.

I would recommend after checking your batteries health, that you do a battery relearn...this where you charge the battery fully, then disconnect the charger from the boost points under the hood, close and lock up the truck and do not wake it up or use it for 9 hours. This is trying to get the truck to evaluate your battery and hopefully start to charge it to a more appropriate level. This can take several tries before it works...if the battery isn't shot already.

All this advice is if you are not having sudden, overnight parasitic dead 12 volt battery issues...see your dealer about that...lots of threads here for information in this area.

If you get the battery tested and it fails, you may have warranty for its replacement...check with your dealer on that.

If you need to replace it, it uses an H4 AGM in our hybrids...make sure it is fully charged (NOT a quickie charge) before installation.

Once installed, follow the manual procedure on how to a new battery installed BMS reset. This is all critical to try and get the truck to charge it properly and know you have a new battery.

I will mention it again, start driving with either your headlights on, park lights on or try a light in your Hitch that plugs into the trailer plug.

Okay, that is a lot of info to digest, good luck!

Andy

This is the thread I mentioned earlier.

Sadly at this point of that low a battery (below 40% SOC) - the above referenced fixes while driving won't work.
Don't bother with those.

External charger is it.

Now - had you been noticing cabin lights off sooner and sooner on door open getting in/out?

If not - then you may have had a battery drain event, at least happening during the 60-75 minutes modules are supposed to be going to sleep, but since you get the warning hours later - it may be continuing until finally shut off with the modem for that Deep Sleep Mode.

Your charge must have been high enough when you turned truck off - or you'd immediately get that notice. Since yours happens later, something is taking it down.

Leave your AC on when you turn off truck?
Do you use your parking brake when you stop?

'24 XLT/FX4 - works great from the start; in NE.

Try reinstalling the app if you haven't tried that yet.
