Hey Mavericks ! I have yet to remote start my Maverick XL thru the FordPass app on my phone. When you do this start, after you enter the truck, do use the key like normal to shift to drive or just inset the key but not crank it ???

If you cranked it while it was on, you would get some nice noises coming from your engine bay :) . I don't have mine yet, but I assume you need to simply insert the key, turn it to the accessory position, and step on the the brake in order to get the dial shifter to allow you to shift out of park. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

You approach it as you will, unlock it with the remote, put the key in the ignition and turn it.

Most modern cars will not "crank" if the engine is already running.
