XLT doesn't get Adaptive Cruise. Adding CP360 1.0 doesn't lose the Adaptive Cruise. Many are getting the CP360 Assist confused with CP360 Assist+. Assist plus is where you had Adaptive Cruise in 22-24MY. In 2025 they called the standard CP360 features Assist. I knew it confused people which is why they remove it on the latter 2025 from the optional equipment. One touch up and down should be standard on all Mavericks. More of a safety feature than not. How expensive could that be to put it on everything instead of just select vehicles? My 2020 Honda civic had adaptive cruise control and lane, correct and braking.
I wanted Blindspot monitoring on my 2025 XLT so I upgraded the copilot 360. Supposedly you then lose the adaptive cruise. That does not make any sense. I don’t think I’ll be buying a Ford again. At my age I need all the safety features. I’ll go back to Toyota’s and Hondas. I have a 2020 Ford transit connect that I bought New and have 105,000 miles on it. It has no safety features but I still like it. I’ll get rid of the Maverick before I get rid of the Ford transit connect.
that is never going to happen if ford did their job right. it should not be feasible to break modern encryption.Well we can cross our fingers for canbus key recovery or crack for 25 so we can use the open source self drive stuff.
The Long McArthur videos on YouTube gave me more information than the Ford website did when it comes to ordering. He produced some pretty good videos on the Ford maverick. If all the major imports have adaptive cruise standard, why can’t Ford give it to you on upgraded models besides the lariat?
If it was standard equipment included in “Safety Features” it wouldn’t be a give away would it? Oh wait, they would go out of business! Lol! Honda and Toyota ain’t out of business supposedly giving it away.If FORD "gave" things away they would be out of business. Go buy an import small 5 passenger pickup instead. Oh wait there isn't one.
check your MyView settings by hitting the menu button on the right side of the steering wheel.
you have options for alert, aid, or alert+aid. alert is a nudge in the steering wheel, kind of a vibration. there is a setting for the intensity of the alert.
there is no option for audible alert, just like the blind spot side mirrors. I like it that way, but many people coming from brands that chirp at you constantly apparently want that. I hate nuisance chirping.
Update...played around with it and lane keeping is definitely working, especially when road markings are good. Find it somewhat inconsistent to the point of being annoying so just turned it off for local driving - much better driving experience! When on longer highway trips I'll experiment with using it again.Ok. Mine is activated but doesn't seem to assist. Maybe the road markings weren't that clear at the time so I'll experiment to get familiar with it. Thanks.
I was forced to by a Lariat.Nearly 75% of sales are XLT trim or lower; who is getting forced?

yup. I did this. “Assist”XLT doesn't get Adaptive Cruise.
Has anyone really tried this and does it actually work without 360?Lane Keeping System (part of cp360 1.0) is not the same as Lane Centering which is a feature of ACC (can only be activated when your ACC is set. Lane Centering will help keep you in the Center of the lane lane keeping which can be used with our without the cruise control can Alert you or assist in trying to help you not cross over the line.
Just thought you should know the difference. XLT does not get Lane Centering but can get Lane Keeping with the $795 Co-Pilot360 1.0 package along with BLIS, CTA, and Rear Parking Sensors.
I wish they would have included cooled seats with the Lariat package. Since the fake leather will be hot in summer. Had this feature in another vehicle I owned and it makes all the difference. A.C. air pumped thru the center core of front seats. It can't cost that mich more to include...it's really the only thing missing.Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control
First let me correct something. Ford won't be giving anything to anybody.
A correct title would be.
Should Ford have adaptive cruise control as an add-on option to XLT's.
Do I like adaptive cruise control? Yes.
How much extra would I pay for it as a add on?? I don't know.
I would have loved a Lariat, had Ford offered fabric seats. Instead of fake leather which is intolerable in the summertime when the temperatures are 110°+ ambient 140°- 150° interior, here in the desert Southwest.

Perforated pleather / ActiveX would offer some type of airflow versus the solid material.
