Just get used on and mod it out save yourself 15k at least. The aftermarket selection for those specific Jeeps is huge, which is why they are popular. You almost always want to get a base model Wrangler because you are just going to end up modding it beyond belief anyway.
I paid 3000 under! The only way this will stop is if all these bozos who are willing to play this game with the dealers quit playing! Quit paying 1000's over msrp people! I refuse to, if that means I dont get the vehicle I want for a year or two then so be it... its not the end of the world if its not right now. Anyone who wants to pay extra for a new car can have it, I wont fight you for it even if I had extra money to burn with the already high inflation.
...and it cannot come soon enough. I am no Toyota fanboy, never owned one, but I have nothing bad to say about them either. Toyota can be a big time player when they want to be . Their record in racing speaks for itself when they decide to go all in on something. They go all in on a compact truck they could easily take away Ford's current advantage, especially if Ford continues to function with their heads up their arses. Just my observation though.Intresting list. How maverick got up there?
Affordability
Only real compact truck on US Market really.
MPG.
I think we will see more companies tap into the market very soon...
I get that . Ford all over the place they got new supply manger … but actually competition means more mavericks out on the road . The maverick is only vehicle of its kind really .. besides step child Santa Cruz that nobody seems to want lot of...and it cannot come soon enough. Well, they better find another supply manager because the new guy is failing to impress.I get that . I wouldn't be interested in it for $50k honestly. Just not what I'm looking for.Sure, they did, and they only want $5k in profit.![]()
(Also, if new, it should list the original dealer it was sold to on the bottom left of the window sticker. If it's used, you might still be able to get the original ws.)
Long-Lewis are pretty good, they normally don’t sell over MSRP and no add-ons. But I suspect those are sold custom ordered Lightnings that are auto-populated in their inventory database.https://www.longlewisriverregionford.com/
They don't list the price on the website but I looked at it the other day after placing my Maverick order.
They have one on their lot that has been there for over a month. I've been eyeballing it every time I drive home from walmart. Just can't justify the price.Long-Lewis are pretty good, they normally don’t sell over MSRP and no add-ons. Toyota had the A-BAT in 2007 but never put it into production. It was basically a Prius truck. Hopefully they're re-thinking it....and it cannot come soon enough. If Toyota were to announce a compact truck for around this time next year, I would be looking big time forward to taking a hard look at it.
