On a new car it's going to be a LOT faster than one with decent mileage. The majority of time is paint correction (cutting and buffing the paint) prior to applying coating.how long does a good ceramic application take? i have heard some do it in 2 hours, that seems like a short time based on what others i read say. lots of people in my area pretending they know shit cause bozo killed oil so they think they can detail cars here to pay the bills.
1) Wash car - 30 minutes
2) Iron remover - 15 minutes
3) Dry car - 15 minutes
3) Clay Bar - 60 minutes
4) Isopropyl alcohol wipe down - 15 minutes
5) Apply Ceramic - 2 hours
So 4 hours 15 minutes start to finish on a new car. Figure an extra 4-8 for paint correction on a used car.
