I always have the option to buy a vehicle that gets 15 mpg to save that $11.
I’m sort of impressed your state is treating all vehicles the same regardless of whether it’s an ICE, EV or Hybrid. If the basis for the tax is that certain vehicles use less gas and therefore aren’t paying as much in gas taxes that go towards road improvements, then doing this based on a specific MPG figure makes the most sense IMHO.

If it wasn't for all the "Recalls" we would not have a reason for this forum. We all joined to ask about problems that others have, that we also are facing. It seems to me I have made many friends (by there sign in names) but never met, that I would miss if I didn't check in every day to read what members are discussing. I soon will be starting my 5th year (3/9/26) owning my Maverick, and only missed a few days now, and then reading members rants.
On my first Maverick this group helped me keep sane (less crazy) while I waited 17 months for my truck. With my present '24 XLT I've had just one recall for the back-up camera that they did in my driveway.

God, I want to like it but it kinda looks like a Cybertruck had sex with a Santa Cruz.
No one (publicly..)has seen enough of the final design yet to make any determinations. Given Ford's success with pick-up's, I remain optimistic, until proven otherwise. 🤠

Making the truck more efficient aerodynamic wise is great and I don't really care what they do with the front end, but it's nice to have good access to the bed from the sides front to back. I'd hate to have to jump into the bed just to push a load all the way to the cab.

Another reason to like the Mav.
