****FOGLIGHTS**** Installed [Diode Dynamics]

@thev8man Can you get some pics at night? Really curious how much light is additionally thrown out. Specifically these 3 scenarious:

1.) Fogs off, low beams on
2.) Fogs on, low beams on
3.) Fogs on, low beams off

The throw is great, the way I put them on my truck the fogs are on when my low beams are on and the Amber's are on when only my side or park lights are on.

I do alot of driving at night and I have finally got people to stop high beaming me. I guess with the more light down low people just know now I guess. My hybrid is still stock height and it was getting pretty annoying.

The foglights have a very widespread beam that mirrors the low beams.

Correct, that's the gentle pull down. I had to use a plastic clip removal tool. I didn't want to tear the bumper off.

With a little work, you could get another rear bed switch and change the icon to indicate fog lamps, then mount it on the right side like you wanted for a "factory" look.

Finally got mine installed. Spent about 2 days on and off. Doing this in 2-3 hours is really not doable unless you do a sloppy job on the wiring.

I wired mine up differently so that my blue wire (for the back amber lighting) is tied to my led hood circuit so they are on whenever the truck is running regardless of headlight settings. I wired my white wire (fog light activation) to the side parking - running light through my added on switch in the console. Whenever any lights are on...via automatic or manual, my fog lights are on if my inside console pushbuton switch is on. Low, high, and running lights - my fogs are on or off in any of these modes based on my console switch position. Top button in the picture is used for my fogs...added second one under it for future accessory and prewired up in the engine compartment off the battery juntion box.

The fog light backligh amber light is not very bright as seem in the picture. I added new leds in my side marker lights and they are at least three times brighter than the amber backlight of the fogs.

I wanted to use these lights with my own harness because i wanted a more oem style ones. And did not wanted the back light on it.

Cool, did you see the Diode Dynamics kit and not like it? The amber lights could javelin not been used. It appears as if your lights are halogen? That is sure puts out a different light pattern. Glad you got what you wanted and liked.

No i like their kit . I just wanted their bezel to be honest. But i had this fog ligths for a while from a ford f150 so i wanted to use them.
