Okay,.,, I am trying to do the install and having issues removing the front bumper. All screws underneath and on top and the 3 on each side are out. The issue is the two sides do not want to pull down from the metal. I can pull down about 1/2 inch and pull away from the lights but that is about it. It sees like there is something else holding these two bumper sides in place. The top is loose and the grill bars have been pulled away from the lights so that is not holding it. It seems like there is a click stlll holding the bumpers in place. If I pull any harder something is going to break or deform. It definitely is not just pulling away as in their video. I have a 23 Lariat.

I put some light inside and it is the center black alignment mount on the bumper ends that tends to hang up the bumper. Pulling hard will just break the tabs on the mount off. The center plastic alignment mount has an inner and outer tab that really need to be pushed in to properly release the bumper from the metal fender. DD probably already broke their tabs so that is why their bumper pulled off so much easier in their video. Tabs are hard to get at too! I noticed that one of the tabs on mine had partially broken off from pulling on it so just yanking on it is not the proper procedure to remove it. I'll put a dab of dielectric grease on it when I reinstall my bumper.

Ebay auction is for the chrome trim in the pix, but what I am looking at is that aftermarket fog lamp switch somebody fit into the factory headlight switch on the right. Ya sure it sticks up a lot, but I think I could set something like that into my switch more flush than that. I need to figure out what switch that is, and what vehicle its for.

Yeh, I found that after using a flashlight to view that inside area more closely. Should have done it during the day. It would have been a lot better if DD mentioned this instead of just telling you to tug it down which is not the way to do it...they need to redo that part in their video so people don't bend down the fender slot or break the clip tabs off.

Check all the clips on the bottom. All the clips need to be removed, that should be the hang up. The bumper slides in to the protective lower engine cover.

I believe it says remove the screws then pull down.

Clips / push pins are CHEAP. If you are worried about them buy a kit like this on amazon.....

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008427D88/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

There are other styles. But all are reasonable.
The pins on the bumper I am talking about are show as #2 below in the picture

Ford Maverick ****FOGLIGHTS**** Installed [Diode Dynamics] bumper

Part numbers
NZ6Z17C947A
NZ6Z17C947B and about $13 each. That part is rivoted into the top of the bumper and it has plastic centering pins and the three holes that the fender bolts into. The center of this part is where the plastic mount is that has two tabs on it and that is what holds up the bumper from dropping down even with the botls removed and the front and bottom of the bumper free. Those two tabs really need to be pushed in on the mount to allow the bumper to drop the rest of the way rather than just yanking on the bumper until the tabs break off. Tabs are not required for reinstall but support the bumper during removal.

Did you remove the bolts in there, there should be two of them on each side 🤔

@thev8man Can you get some pics at night? Really curious how much light is additionally thrown out. Specifically these 3 scenarious:

1.) Fogs off, low beams on
2.) Fogs on, low beams on
3.) Fogs on, low beams off

Thanks!
