Looks like Diode Dynamics is going to have an option similar to what I wanted to build for fog lights in the front bumper. Hoping they will be at a good price and I will not have to try and make my own.

Talking with some guy on facebook. idk if he's affiliated with DD or not but the estimated price is around $300 for the kit. It includes their elite lights which run around $220 normally. I'm definitely interested in this myself but without seeing how its installed yet, im not sure if I want to buy yet. More information will be coming out this thursday as they release a full line of lights for the maverick.

I would have to see how well the insert and color match looks before deciding along with the style of light they will be using. For $300 it better be a nice fitting insert or I will keep waiting for a Chinese knock off unit to come out.

The elite lights are a product they already make so you can at least look at the light temp color. As to the fit and finish, I'm in the same boat. I want to see some more information about it. especially about wiring it up and such. I got the hybrid so battery connection being inside the cab will provide a challenge.

My Lariat comes in about a month. I still do not see any company that makes a really nice fog light kit that somewhat matches the existing lights and style for the truck. So far all the fog light mods seem to look awkward in the Maverick. I noticed that Ram had some lights that look like they may be a nice fit for the truck but no one appears to have tried a retrofit. If you know of a good looking fog light that matches the truck style and fits with a little work me know. I am more worried about fit and style since I can wire the lights up myself.

Someone said to try the upcoming Carlisle,PA truck show in August which I am going to attend.
This is probably one of the top five most wanted modifications for the Maverick and one of the most frustrating. There is a thread by someone who did it and even used the light control panel from an F-150 since it had a built in switch for turning the fogs on/off. Basically, just pushing the light control knob in/out. Very clean install. Apologies that I don't have a link to the thread nor do I remember the member's name, but perhaps this will inspire you to widen your research. Good luck!

I read through that a while back. I plan to just install a separate switch and wire tap with relays for the fogs. I already have a half dozen wiring kit sets from my old Civic fogs. The Civic fog light kits (for $35!) included the lights, brackets, switch, relays, connectors and wiring. If they were angled more I would have tried to use them.

I am hoping DD provides a bezel that lets the fog light sit further back into the bumper like most factory installed fogs. I also want a single lense assembly instead of the current crop of separate multiple leds in one square unit. The DD elite series has some that fit this style but waiting to see what kind of bezel if any they come up with.

Here's a thread started by DD with their bracket selection for the Maverick.

So freaking jealous! Looks terrific and how the Maverick should have been built.

Yeah, DD stepped up and provided a very good fog light kit that looks OEM. I've been drooling over it since it came out a couple weeks ago
