They will not be on with the DRLs. There is separate output from the BCM for the DRLs and Low Beams. DDs description is accurate.

I bought the 3D printed bezels and the 2024 kit plus integrated with the F150 headlight switch. This allows me to turn the fog lights off and shows an indicator on the cluster when they are on.

Installation is not difficult, just allow some extra time if you are not mechanically inclined.
If you go with the 2025 kit, it is plug and play. Cutting the bumper is the most tedious part, but a Dremel makes short work. Just take your time.

Very nice integrated design. Only issue I have is that you do not have the option of running without the fogs on in low beam operation.
Not sure why you would want to turn them off really, that defeats the point of installing them. But they designed the kit that way to make it a plug and play harness, because there were complaints from the 22-24 kits needing to add a switch.

If I were driving in town on a clear night - not really a need for fog lamps at that point and I would shut them off.

I agree with you. This seems like a downgrade from what the pre-2025 kit has. Easier to install, for sure. But a loss of functionality.

You can always wire them up to a switch, there's always a way to make it work for what you want.
