With the tuxmat do you put them over the factory carpet liners or do you take the carpet out>
AFIK, you don't put any floor liner over another liner of any kind, especially in the drivers position. The Tuxmats are no exception. You do not remove the factory installed carpeting, however.

I like my Husky liners and they fit like a glove. I've had this brand in all my vehicles for many years with no issues. There are others here who will chime in soon, that like other brands also. Husky is now owned by RealTruck, which is a sponser for this site. Check for a discount code, may save you some cash!
I just got Husky Liners for my maverick and they fit terribly lol I would never recommend them to anyone.

Did you get the Contour model (X-act fit) or Weatherbeater version? I got the Contour and they are softer, more pliable. Mine are fitting great. Most likely you can send them back for a refund. Sorry you are disappointed.

Take out the carpet.
There's a small tab that connects to the floor, without it the tuxmat might slide around.

I went with the mabett floor liners. Fit really good. I can't say about durability yet I haven't had them in long enough. They are alittle thinner than the smartliners. I did have smatliners at first but didn't like how the driver side liner didn't completely cover the dummy pedal and the passenger front rubbed on the outer side plastics. The mabett liner solved both of those problems.

I bought the Husky Liners Weatherbeaters, P/N 95401, for my 2024 Hybrid from Amazon, $125. Amazon showed they wouldn't fit but manufacturer said they would. Perfect fit. Real Truck price was $140.

They look really good. I'll wait. Do the fronts cover the still plate?
For the sill plates I looked all over for something and decided not to get any metal ones.
I used this product and love it. It comes in a long roll of material. Twice as much as needed for this truck. May use the excessive on the bed door bottoms.

It has a very sticky back and more of a plastic than a tape but sticks very well once you press it down. I have not had any edges or ends come up since it has been done. You have to cut the size you want and just round off the ends. It is a roughlike surface but it does not seem to collect any dirt or discolor even when my foot rubs on it getting in and out at times. My original blue paint was starting to get scuffed up so I needed to protect it and this DOES the trick. I love it and did it on both the front and back. It is slightly wider then the sill do you carefully lay it down (carefully so you can pull it back up and lay it again if it needs to be contoured slighly). Once laid down you can easily bend the access width over the sill slowly and carefully to avoid any bumps or air gaps. Once down just press it down down hard with your palms and you are set for life. It actually only takes a minute or two to do each side once you cut and length you want and would the end with scissors.

You will not be disappointed with this stuff. It should be rated higher than what it shows since the negative reviews make no sense. DO NOT USE a heatgun - no reason for this. I also had no problem with any adhesive coming off - maybe they left it in the sun or aged it before using it.

Here are the floor mats I purchased 8K miles ago and still fit fine with no issues and go under the pedal. They may not go up the sides as high as the more expensive ones but neither do my shoes. Easy to clean and snap into place so there is no movement and foot does not slip on them. I had 3D Maxpiders in my Escape and I like these as much if not better.

Very cheap compared to others ($100 exactly) out there and NO SMELL in the hot sun.

When I viewed the site there was a $15 coupon to bring them down to $85 with free shipping. You won't find a better deal.

I have these exact mats. Found them on eBay branded IKON Motorsports. They just change the logo plate depending on the seller, but same mats. I agree they are very nice for the price. Think I paid like $55 for the full set, total steal.

Here's a link for Ecoboost set. Seller takes offers.

They are the same, all made by one company and branded like you said. Your price is $15 cheaper than the Amazon sale right now. Hard to pass on these compared to $200 for some brands.

Although I don't recall having to cut the back ones. Mine were precut to fit in the back.
