Has anyone found a fix for their broken sunglass holder release? Mine opens on its own over 45 degrees F. The little release mech comes out with the door. I will post a video. Did this from new and thought it was a fluke since it hasn't done it for a month. Now its warm out and it won't stay in.

Well I don't have that problem, and it's sort of embarrassing but I didn't know it was there.

No issues with mine. The fix for now, should I need one, is a trip to the dealer. You paid a lot for that truck. Make them fix whatever is wrong with it.

I see from another post the sunglass holder is very cheaply made.

No rattles but I had a few paint defects, the intelligent keyless access on driver side (handle) went out and scratched door panel.

I’m going to the dealership Monday to have it looked at. I’m guessing they will just superglue the damn thing in place. Hopefully they can fix my door rattle too.

Just bend the "male" clip a little when the car is warm so that it will grasp the clip.

Mine isn't broken but I can tell it's horribly designed and will eventually break. I don't know why they didn't just go with the typical Toyota/Honda sunglasses holder design that has a smooth press and then it slowly comes down.

Could you solve your problem? Mine is still broken and now the weather is warmer, the door keeps opening. I don't want to go to the dealership just for that but eventually will have them taking care of it.

Assembly has been ordered. It’ll be to the dealership hopefully mid/late February
