So happy with how it came out! Still have to VRT the trim and apply the ceramic boost tomorrow after the coat cures but I think it turned out wonderfully! Sure there were areas I could have improved but I am happy with my results 🙂

Process used:
1) wash with Adam’s car shampoo
2) claybar with clay lube (chemical guys)
3) Adam’s ceramic coating kit (not the quick spray stuff) step one, basically isopropyl alcohol on one body panel at a time.
4) Adam’s ceramic coating kit step two in 2’x2’ sections as it describes on the body panel prepped in step 3.
5) buff off when rainbow effect appears (15s-30s).
6) Adam’s graphene detail spray on wheels
7) Adam’s tire dressing
8) Adam’s detail spray on windows and trim (though I think I could have done better here but I was exhausted at this point!)

I think it turned out great 🙂 pics:

Congrats, it’s amazing how long vehicles stay clean when ceramic coated.

Obviously you didn't see the need to use Iron Remover on the wheels or side panels and a need to polish before you used IPA. Looks good. I'm planning to do the works plus Ceramic coat the Plastic Trim and Wheels..two coats

Looks really nice. I have seen the benefit of having done mine. Seems the birds have found my boat shed after several years. It’s where I keep my kayaks and the VB Eco I have.

Drove it to town the other day and watched the bird crap disappear from the hood in the rain we had. Easy peasy. 😊

Hmm tough to say since I had most materials on hand. I would think each thing was approximately as follows (again I don’t have each price in front of me):
1) Adam’s car shampoo; ~$15?
2) chemical guys claybar and clay lube; ~$25?
3) Adam’s ceramic coating kit; ~$180?
4) Adam’s graphene detail spray; ~$25?
5) Adam’s tire dressing and sponge; ~$20?
6) Adam’s detail spray; ~$15?
If you bought every material just for one go it’s not cheap but I detail our vehicles fairly regularly so I get my moneys worth. I was lucky that I had a ceramic coating kit on hand from when I wanted to do my Evo X but never got around to it and sold the car or else I probably wouldn’t have used the full kit and done a less intensive spray. Still much cheaper than getting it done by someone else! I’ve been detailing cars all my life so I was comfortable doing it. It was fairly time intensive; approximately 8 hours for everything I listed. All in all not terrible! I generally enjoy the process anyway. Thank you!

Exactly! After claybar, I felt and examined the surface and didn’t see the need to use my iron remover or polish 🙂 you’ll love it! Good luck!!

Nice Ryobi mower.😎
Thanks hahaha good eye! My dad has an electric mower and refers to it as his “prius mower” so I’ve adopted the same nickname for mine haha
