I got the Zurich Shield for my Mav. The most common automatic car wash in my area is https://goldennozzlecarwash.com/services/ but I can't find any info on Zurich Shield (their website sucks) for taking it through an automatic car wash. I live in an apartment so washing in my driveway is not an option. Thanks!

Having the same dilemma here. Got the Zurich Shield applied, and there aren't any touchless automatic car washes in my area. Have been through the car wash half a dozen times in the six weeks since taking possession of the Mav. So far, haven't seen any damages. I would however prefer some reassurance before continuing.

I also got Zurich Shield as I plan on keeping my Maverick XLT AWD for a long time. I have only gone to touchless car washes so I don't know about other ones. No problem. I like that I won't need to wax truck.

Zurich Shield is just an add on product sold by most dealers and is nothing more than extra revenue stream for the dealer. Much the same as an extended warranty, undercoating, and others. I turned down a new Maverick from a dealer that would not remove the $995 Zurich Shield. A $5 tube of Turtle Wax from Walmart works as good or better than Zurich Shield. Keeping your car washed regularly and waxed a couple time a year will provide any protection Zurich Shield promises. Look at any car that is 7 years old that did not have Zurich Shield applied and tell me why anyone would buy this product.
