I take the remote out if I have to park outside the garage overnight. That's a bit challenging to accomplish with a homelink mirror

A Scosche magnetic phone mount sticks pretty nicely on the top angled edge of the cubby. If you have a charging cable plugged into the phone it does obstruct the tune knob, but not a big deal to me.
