Thanks, that makes sense. I'm used to the low battery warnings when I'm just doing my 10 minute commute to work and back. It's never happened after a long drive though. What's even weirder is that I didn't get any low battery warnings between 7pm Saturday(after a 2 hour drive) and 8am...
2024 XLT Mav. This weekend, we drove 2 hours to a group campout at a zoo. I parked the truck around 6pm Saturday and we spent the night at the camp. We loaded the truck back up with the tent and gear around 8am Sunday(no issues) and went back in for breakfast. Around 9am my son and I walked...
Yeah, I can do that. I have it back there and have used it to charge, but I'm often using that port for something else. I just want the Bluetooth to work. I guess I should just buy anew one and see if that solves it.
I hate that we can't just connect via bluetooth to the stereo for android auto, without a 3rd party addon. Sometimes I don't want my phone to be charging, or someone else wants to charge their phone, but as soon as you unplug, you lose android auto. Then I started getting intermittent...
I just got the new camera recall done. I never had camera issues. The only difference I notice about the screen so far is that it seems a little laggy. I went to scroll around Google maps yesterday and it wouldnt move. I opened pandora and tried to scroll through my list of stations and it...
Yeah, I was one of those people that was super annoyed at this happening to me. Ready to go to the dealer and complain, I think I even posted a thread here. Then people pointed out what was happening. I felt like an idiot for sure. But "magically" it's never happened since, now that I'm...
2x6 is cut at 14 3/8". I used a 5" angle bracket, just make sure it has enough holes on top to get 2 screws into the wood once it's offset. I left a 1 5/8" gap when attaching the bracket. Just note that these are dims for a drop in bedliner.
It actually stays in place really well. With the rubber coating on the angle bracket, any sideways pressure put on the smaller 2x6 causes it to twist, just a bit, and it kinda self locks. If that makes sense. I left a little wiggle room when I attached the bracket, about 1/16" wider than the...
I hadn't really considered that the 2x6 wouldn't touch the bed. I didn't remember that the horizontal piece is raised when resting in those side slots, but it actually works out. I left some breathing room in the bracket part, to not scratch the 2x6 and the fact that the new piece pivots down a...
I've been using a piece of 2x6 in the bed Divider slot. I find it really useful for groceries and bags full of stuff, but found that they would still slide left and right if not tied down. So I just built this little adjustable piece to keep things from sliding. Just 2x6 and an angle...
I'm curious about this too. I have a 2024 XLT with Co Pilot 360. I've had a few situations where the red flashing warning lights kick on, like when I bike flew out in front of me, and it sure didn't feel like the truck was braking on it's own. Each time it happened, I was stomping on the...
