I'm off weekends but I leave Friday morning to get my truck so the fact that I could handle this on a weekend is moot. As stated before, they got back in touch with me after sending 2 emails in the past 2 days. Just been surprised that I've had to prod them to get responses, I suppose they are busy. Anybody else want to jump on the "f this guy" bandwagon?Yeah I don't really buy it. We are all busy, make some time. Somebody is just cranky.
F this guy!!!I'm off weekends but I leave Friday morning to get my truck so the fact that I could handle this on a weekend is moot. I'm not going to harp on this any further beyond this post, but I disagree that expecting them to respond to my emails is an unreasonable expectation. I also don't feel that expecting them to "guide me through the process" as they stated they would is unreasonable either but everybody in entitled to their own opinion. It's not F this guy, or F the dealership.
It's just, this is how it is. You said you've never bought a vehicle online before so you had expectations that were unreasonable for the process you entered in.
Telling you to call the dealership, or explaining why you aren't getting the service you feel you should be getting isn't saying F this guy.
It's just not saying - F this dealership.
If I had a dime for everything I shouldn't HAVE to do but I end up doing I would be a millionaire.I shouldn't have to but looks like I will. Seems that they should be more eager to get this done and I shouldn't have to chase them.
And they'll be more than happy to mark up the price for you. LolCancel your order so I can get it.![]()
Everything is handled, right? If so, cool.I'm not going to harp on this any further beyond this post, but I disagree that expecting them to respond to my emails is an unreasonable expectation. I don't expect them to hold my hand and wipe my ass, but I can't sell the truck to myself.

Chapman doesn‘t work like thatIf you are financing through the dealership - you should call their finance department directly as sales won't be able to do anything with that.
I've often found that the sales and finance teams communication is lacking and then dealerships usually give their employees days off during the week so they are staffed for the weekend.
Top it off with other salesman won't touch another person's deal because there is no incentive and its likely you aren't getting the run around - you just around getting the right people.
